For those brand new to the principal percussionist duties, starting a new job as principal or just want to see/have a different way of laying everything out, check out this free resource! This is how I personally organized everything in Calgary, Kansas City and currently use for Grant Park.

This includes a master logistics sheet, assignment templates for 2-7 players (depending on the concert cycle), concert cycle folders, instrument info template, and a setup chart folder. 

If you are starting at a new job, do ask management and the section what they use/do to organize logistics before suggesting they use this system, however you should feel free to use this for yourself and then translate it into whatever the section/management uses.
