FAQ’s

How long are the lessons?

Lessons are one hour long at least. I do not charge for any overtime whatsoever

how often are the lessons?

It’s up to the participant, but I recommend at least 2 lessons within a 4 week period

How much are the lessons?

$100 for one lesson a month (via calendly)

$195 for 2 lessons a month

$285 for 3 lessons per month

$370 for 4 lessons per month

via PayPal or Zelle

Are lessons online or in-person?

Generally, lessons have been online via zoom, facetime, Facebook messenger, google duo, and skype. currently, venue availability is very limited for in-person lessons, but if you are in the Kansas City area we can discuss this further via the above form.

How many lessons do I have to sign up for?

I recommend at least 2 lessons, but the amount is up to the participant

How does scheduling work?

Participants receive a link to sign up on a spreadsheet. Times are in CDT time

What do we work on in the lessons?

This is up to the participant. I’m willing to help with any subject and I’ll make it very clear if I’m not comfortable with the subject or if there’s a better instructor for it

Do I have to be an orchestral player?

Absolutely not! I have taught people from almost every genre. Again, I will let you know if something you’d like to focus on is outside my wheelhouse, like Tabla Technique for example.
